A Web Presence That Earns Its Sponsors

A plan to build the Fox Valley Forge sponsor experience the right way — where every partner's logo is pixel-perfect and every listing is a polished mini home page. We build all of it; the sponsor's only job is to review and approve.

Prepared for Mike Weyant & Mallory Gagliardi · Draft for review

The Opportunity

More Than a Logo Wall

The reference page (Wasco Athletics) is the common approach: a tidy grid of logos that link out. It's fine — but it treats sponsors as decoration. We can make the Forge sponsor page a genuine value platform that partners are proud to be on and want to renew.

Typical Sponsor Page

  • A grid of logos, often mismatched quality
  • Click = leave the site immediately
  • Just a logo, maybe one paragraph
  • The sponsor has to gather and send everything
  • Looks like an afterthought

The Forge Sponsor Page

  • Every logo cleaned to razor-sharp quality
  • Click = a rich, on-site "mini home page"
  • Professional photo, story, hours & a map
  • A real website link that helps their own Google visibility
  • We build it all — the sponsor just approves

The Logo Standard — Every Logo, Pixel-Perfect

Your non-negotiable, and rightly so. A sponsor page is only as premium as its worst logo. Every partner logo will be delivered in a razor-sharp format that stays crisp at any size — cleaned up, or fully redrawn, when what we're given isn't good enough.

The Rule

No blurry PNGs, no jagged edges, no off-brand colors. If a sponsor hands us a low-res logo pulled off a business card, we redraw it so it's crisp at any size — from a favicon to a stadium banner.

STEP 1 · SOURCE

We find the best file

Gather the sharpest available logo — from the sponsor or public sources. Their effort: none.

STEP 2 · ASSESS

Triage quality

Already clean vector → just normalize. Anything blurry or low-res → clean it up.

STEP 3 · REDRAW

Redraw service or AI

Rebuild it crisp with sharp edges and brand-accurate color, in a stays-sharp-at-any-size format.

STEP 4 · APPROVE

Sponsor signs off

Zoom-test for sharpness, then the sponsor reviews and approves before anything goes live.

How We Clean Up Every Logo

Two tools, matched to the logo — a professional redraw service ($14/logo) and AI. No in-house hand-drawing. My recommended default is the highlighted row.

ApproachBest forQualityCost / speed
Sponsor's own logo file
(their original design file)
Any sponsor who already has a proper logo file Perfect — just normalize colors & export Free · minutes
AI redraw / cleanup Recommended Blurry or low-res logos — most cases Excellent — sharp, flat, brand-accurate; keeps the design faithful Low cost · same-day
Professional redraw service Trickier logos that want a human touch High — professional redraw $14/logo · ~24–48h

Every result is checked at high zoom for sharpness and brand-accurate color — and nothing publishes until the sponsor has seen and approved their logo.

The Sponsor Spotlight — a Mini Home Page

Click any logo and it opens a polished mini home page for that sponsor — built entirely by us from public info, so the listing actively promotes them instead of just crediting them. No forms, offers, or files to chase.

  • Professional hero photo — the storefront, sourced and cleaned up by us.
  • Crisp logo on a clean branded header — sharp, not a fuzzy PNG in a white box.
  • A short factual "about" — who they are, written for them from public info.
  • What they offer — a few quick category highlights.
  • Store details + an embedded map — address, hours, and phone.
  • Action buttons — Visit Website, Directions, and Call — one tap each.

3 · Homepage Logo Banner

An auto-scrolling marquee of sponsor logos at the bottom of the homepage — exactly as requested. Pauses on hover, each logo clickable to its spotlight. We'll reuse the smooth infinite-carousel we already built for the Leadership section.

Consistent Grid

On the sponsor page, logos sit in an even grid — all cleaned and normalized to the same visual weight, so a big brand and a small shop both look sharp and intentional side by side.

Zero Sponsor Effort

We source and prepare everything — logo, photo, copy, and details. The sponsor's only step is a quick review and a thumbs-up before it goes live. Easy to say yes, easy to renew.

Why Sponsors Win

The Value We Actually Deliver

This is the pitch that helps the club close and renew sponsors — because the page gives them things a logo grid never could, with no work on their end.

A real web presence

Many small sponsors don't have a strong website. Their Forge spotlight can be the sharpest, most professional page they have online — and we build it for them.

In front of local families

Forge families are exactly the local customers these businesses want, seeing a polished listing — not just a logo in a grid.

Search visibility

A real link from a fast, well-known community site gives each sponsor a small, genuine boost in Google searches for their business.

Effortless to say yes

We handle the logo, photo, copy, and setup. The sponsor reviews and approves — that's the whole ask. Easy to sign, easy to renew.

Best-Practice Build

How We'll Build It

Engineered so adding the 30th sponsor is as easy as the 1st — and so it stays fast, accessible, and on-brand.

Easy to add sponsors

Every sponsor lives in one simple list, so the page, spotlights, and homepage banner all stay in sync. Adding a new sponsor is quick and clean — no rebuild.

Fast, reliable hosting

Every photo and logo lives on a high-speed content-delivery platform and is automatically sized for the web — so pages load fast on any phone or computer.

Quick & easy to use

Images load only as needed, everything works by touch and keyboard, and text stays easy to read — so the page is quick and usable for everyone.

Search-engine friendly

Each sponsor is set up so Google and other search engines clearly understand their business — a little extra visibility, at no extra effort.

Mobile-first

Most visitors are on phones. Grid, banner, and spotlights are designed for touch first, then scaled up.

On-brand & easy to run

Forge navy/gold/crimson throughout. Adding or updating a sponsor is a small, well-scoped task under the maintenance plan.

What the Sponsor Has to Do

Almost Nothing

The whole point: keep the steps on the sponsor's side minimal — ideally none. We source and build everything from the best available info; the sponsor simply reviews the finished spotlight and gives the OK.

We source the logo — from the sponsor or public sources
We clean it up crisp — a redraw service or AI
We source & enhance a photo — the storefront or a hero image
We write the "about" — short and factual, from public info
We gather address, hours & phone — plus the map
We add the website link and build the spotlight
We host every photo & logo on a fast, reliable platform
We put it on the banner and keep it up to date
The Sponsor's Only Step

Review and approve. Every logo, photo, and detail is sent for a final OK before it goes live — nothing publishes without their sign-off. If there's ever one thing we genuinely can't source, we'll ask for that single item and nothing more.

Proposed Plan

Phases

Sequenced so we can start the moment Mike's sponsor list arrives, and launch in a clean, reviewable order.

Phase 0

Get the list

Mike sends the sponsor list — names and websites are enough. We start sourcing logos, photos, and details for each.

Phase 1

Logo pipeline

Clean up every logo to a crisp, stays-sharp-at-any-size format, and set up one shared, fast-loading home for all sponsor images.

Phase 2

Sponsor page + spotlights

Build the even logo grid and the mini-home-page spotlights, all from one simple list — and set up to be search-engine friendly from the start.

Phase 3

Homepage banner

Add the auto-scrolling logo banner to the bottom of the homepage, wired to the same sponsor data.

Phase 4

Sponsor approvals

Send each finished spotlight for review, make any tweaks, and collect the OK — nothing goes live without it.

Phase 5

Final check & launch

Zoom-test every logo, check phones, links, and readability, then publish the approved sponsors.

This is a substantial build; it fits naturally under a pre-pay maintenance block, with per-sponsor logo work billed as it comes in. We'll scope hours once the sponsor count is known.

Ready to Use

Sponsor Outreach Email

A ready-to-send invite for a prospective sponsor — it does the explaining and shows them exactly what they'll get. Click Copy Email, paste into Gmail or Outlook, swap the [bracketed] parts, and send.

For Mike & Mallory

Decisions to Confirm

A few things that shape the build

  • How will Mike send the sponsor list? Names + websites is all we need to start sourcing everything else.
  • Confirm the approval flow: we send each finished spotlight to you to pass along, or directly to the sponsor for their final OK?
  • Any sponsors whose logo or details we won't find publicly, so we should request that one item directly?
  • Any businesses that should not be listed, or details they'd want handled a particular way?
